It's simple.....salt and water. A LOT of it. Each of our four Floataway Float-A-Rounds has over a thousand pounds of Epsom salts in 11 inches of water. This fully supports you to allow your brain and body to fully relax due to the reduced sensory environment. The water is heated to skin temperature, which allows your brain to avoid activation because you are neither too hot nor too cold. Science has demonstrated floating has tremendous benefit in reducing stress/tension, anxiety, and PTSD. Our clients report improved sleep, decrease pain and discomfort, and a more relaxed state of mind. 

Nearly everyone can benefit from floatation therapy, but we always encourage any potential client to discuss floating with their medical provider if they have any medical issues or concerns. Pregnant women love floating because of the weightless support it offers for the growing belly and discomforts of pregnancy. Athletes have long used Epsom salts for recovery...and we've got a lot of it! Tough workout? Come float after! Minors need approval from their parents. 

Each floater's experience may differ based on what their health concerns are prior to floating. Science has demonstrated reduced tension and stress, reduced anxiety and symptoms of PTSD. As mentioned previously our clients report improved sleep, less pain, and overall better state of mind. We are a state-of-the-art float center with FOUR private 8ft round float pools from Floataway. We are proud to be one of their "Centers of Excellence." Our Float-A-Rounds are the same pools used in float research at the Laureate Institute of Brain Research (LIBR) in Tulsa, OK. Our spacious pools are less confining and allow you to stretch out completely. We also offer the ONLY fully open pool in the state in an ADA-compliant room and center. Our floors are the superior non-slip flooring called Takiron yet are soft underfoot. With four float rooms you can bring a friend and experience the benefits of floating at the same time.
